Where is it best to store brewed Coffee after it’s opened?

I love coffee. But after I open it, it doesn’t taste the same. I don’t know why. It’s stronger and fresher once I have some after opening it.

Some people keep their grounded coffee in the refrig or even in the freeze. Some people buy the roasted beans only and then use a small grinder to grind a small amount to make just enough for a pot or a couple of cups. Still need to refrig the beans or keep in an air tight container. I use to buy smaller amounts & use the grinder at the market and then store in the refrig in a small container. It does really smell great, doesn’t it…

I dont drink strong coffee anymore. I now use instant which is not the same. I had to cut back on my intake severely.
