How is drinking alcohol every day different from drinking Coffee every morning?
I rarely drink coffee, but know many people who must have a couple of cups to function in the morning. However I do like a couple glasses of wine in the evening, after work. I don’t see the difference between the two. If you need a stimulant in the morning to perk you up, then isn’t that an addiction? If I get a good night’s sleep, I don’t need anything to wake up. I’m just wondering if I have a problem or is it just society that looks at alcohol consumption as a problem? Seems like a double standard to me.
Many people believe caffeine is harmful. And if you’re drinking in moderation, 1-2 glasses of wine, there are experts that believe the tannins in wine are good for you. I guess my question is more about the psychological dependency. Where does relaxation end…and alcoholism begin?
well coffee isn’t bad for you! alcohol on the other hand will ruin you liver over time unlike un-harmful coffee.
